E-network : Coalition Releases Child Care Subsidy Factsheet
February 25, 2008
The Kids Are Priority One Coalition has released a fact sheet about Vermont's Child Care Subsidy Program (now called the Child Care Tuition Program) and the Coalition's campaign to bring subsidy eligibility guidelines up to current levels and raise rates to more closely reflect rates actually charged parents. This campaign is part of a larger effort to ensure the healthy development of all children in Vermont.
The Coalition will soon be releasing talking points to accompany the fact sheet. The Child Care Advisory Board's 2008 Legislative Report also provides helpful information about the changes needed in the subsidy program.
